I attended the Red Door Memoir Writing Weekend because my daughter was one of the organisers and I wanted to support her and the Red Door publishing house. I was a little interested in memoir writing but now… I’m passionate about it.

I heard such inspiring small snatches of people’s memoirs that I just want to hear more and I want to have a go myself. Marnie was wonderful. She’s is a really good coach and she created an atmosphere of absolute trust and calm and allowed people to write, and then read, some of their really intimate personal memories.
